How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are recruiting on behalf of an award-winning luxury hospitality client for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Restaurant Manager in the day-to-day operation of a high-end restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while leading and motivating the Food & Beverage team. You'll be responsible for maintaining outstanding service standards, supporting team development, and ensuring smooth service in a fast-paced luxury environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Supervise the daily operation of the restaurant and bar.

    * Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer service.

    * Support and motivate the Food & Beverage team during service.

    * Build positive relationships with guests and resolve queries professionally.

    * Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and service.

    * Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless operations.

    * Develop strong product knowledge and confidently upsell food and beverage offerings.

    * Support the training and development of team members.

    * Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and licensing regulations.

    * Accurately use EPOS systems and complete other operational duties as required.

    Requirements

    * Minimum two years' experience within a quality hospitality environment.

    * Previous supervisory or senior team member experience is desirable.

    * Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

    * Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.

    * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    * Experience using EPOS systems (Simphony or similar) and Microsoft Office.

    * Professional, well-presented and a strong team player.

    * Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

    Hours Of Work:

    40 Hours per week between 6am–10:30pm, including weekends and bank holidays
