How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    SDP Test Analyst (x5)
    Contract: 6 Months
    Location: Hybrid - Reading (4 days onsite per week)
    Start Date: ASAP
    Rate: Competitive (Inside IR35)
    Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required

    The Opportunity

    We are seeking five experienced SDP Test Analysts to join a major digital transformation programme, supporting key service areas including Cloud Hosting, Enterprise Services, End User Services, Identity & Access Management (IDAM), and infrastructure services.

    Working closely with the Test Manager, you will lead testing activities within your assigned domain, ensuring high-quality delivery across complex enterprise platforms.

    Key Responsibilities

    Review requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation to ensure test readiness.
    Create test plans, scenarios, and test cases.
    Execute manual and automated functional and non-functional testing.
    Conduct regression, performance, usability, and security testing.
    Manage defects through to resolution and support retesting activities.
    Produce test reports, dashboards, and progress updates.
    Work collaboratively with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
    Support Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Required Experience

    3+ years experience in a Test Analyst or QA role within complex enterprise environments.
    Active SC Clearance (mandatory).
    Strong knowledge of software testing principles and SDLC.
    Experience with manual and automated testing frameworks.
    Experience with tools such as Selenium, BrowserStack, JMeter, OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
    Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery.
    Working knowledge of Python, Java, or JavaScript.
    Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
