We're recruiting for an IT Deskside Support Engineer to join a leading global financial services organisation based in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused IT Support professional who enjoys providing hands-on technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
The Role
As an IT Deskside Support Engineer, you'll be responsible for providing onsite support to end users, managing incidents and service requests, and ensuring a high level of service across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Provide onsite deskside support for hardware, software and user-related issues
Manage incidents and service requests through to resolution
Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals
Support device deployments, imaging, configuration and asset management
Assist with user onboarding and offboarding activities
Administer Active Directory accounts and permissions
Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook and Teams
Provide meeting room and AV support where required
Maintain accurate ticket updates and documentation
Collaborate with wider technology teams to resolve complex issues
Skills & Experience
We're interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in:
IT Support, Desktop Support, Deskside Support or End User Support
Windows 10/11 troubleshooting
Active Directory administration
Microsoft 365 support
ServiceNow or similar ITSM/ticketing tools
Microsoft Intune, SCCM or endpoint management technologies
Device deployment, imaging and asset management
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Supporting users in an enterprise environment
Contract Details
Location: Dublin
Working Pattern: Onsite 5 days per week
Contract Length: 12 months
Rate: €19.84 per hour
