How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Working pattern: Monday to Friday, with regular Saturday working potentially required

    We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to support a major battery energy storage system project at Indian Queens Power Station.

    * Coordinating deliveries and site logistics

    * Maintaining daily site records, diaries and progress information

    * Managing permits to work and relevant site documentation

    * Monitoring health and safety standards

    * Liaising professionally with the client and project stakeholders

    * Supporting the existing civils team

    * Attending site meetings and providing progress updates

    * Ensuring works are completed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications

    * Maintaining a steady and well-organised site environment

    Mandatory requirements

    * Valid SMSTS

    * Valid First Aid at Work

    * Appropriate CSCS Card

    * Strong civils construction experience

    * Previous experience managing ITPs and site documentation

    * Good knowledge of permits to work, RAMS and site health and safety

    * Able to commute reliably to Indian Queens Power Station

    * Available to start Monday 10 August

    * Available for the full six-month duration

    * Willing to work Saturdays when required

    Previous experience working on BESS, solar farms, power stations, substations, utilities or renewable energy projects would be a significant advantage.

    A Black CSCS Card would also be preferable.

    This is a client-facing position, so applicants must be professional, organised, presentable and confident communicating with the principal contractor and wider project team.

    Please apply with an up-to-date CV detailing your relevant civils, renewable energy and site management experience
