About the role

At Plymouth Community Homes, you'll be trusted to lead our in-house Gas Servicing Team, ensuring thousands of residents receive safe, reliable, and high-quality heating and gas services every day. This is a role where your technical expertise, leadership skills and passion for customer service will genuinely make a difference.
What you'll be doing:
As Gas Servicing Supervisor, you'll provide day-to-day leadership to a team of Gas Safe registered engineers, apprentices and trainees.
You'll be responsible for:
* Leading and motivating a high-performing gas servicing team
* Carrying out site inspections, quality assessments and toolbox talks
* Ensuring compliance with Gas Safety Regulations and health and safety standards
* Managing workloads to deliver efficient, cost-effective services
* Supporting engineer development through coaching, mentoring and performance management
* Working closely with colleagues, contractors and stakeholders to ensure works are delivered on time and to a high standard
* Championing excellent customer service and resident satisfaction
* Promoting a strong safety culture across all aspects of the service
What we're looking for:
We're keen to hear from candidates who can bring both strong technical knowledge and people leadership skills.
You'll likely have:
* Experience within gas servicing, maintenance or breakdown services in either the public or private sector
* Experience supervising, leading or developing Gas Safe registered engineers
* A solid understanding of Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations and wider health and safety legislation
* The ability to motivate teams, manage performance and drive service improvements
* Excellent communication and customer-focused skills
* Current ACS qualifications and a full UK driving licence
