How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Plan and organise daily tasks in conjunction with the Building Manager.

Keep supplier contact, stock and building information up to date.

Respond promptly to requests from the Head of Operations and building teams.

Maintain accurate records using the company’s systems and software.

Keep maintenance areas, cupboards and workspaces clean and organised.

Ensure consistently high visual and presentation standards across all buildings.

    Practical duties

    Painting and decorating.

    Preparing, sanding and filling walls.

Minor low-voltage electrical tasks, including changing light bulbs.

Minor plumbing repairs and unblocking toilets.

Repairing door handles, hinges and closers.

    Hanging whiteboards, televisions and artwork.

Laying carpet tiles and moving floor boxes.

    Minor tiling work.

An understanding of suitable fixings, mounting brackets and weight limitations.

Awareness of current health and safety requirements.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

A proactive approach and excellent attention to detail.

    Good communication skills.

The ability to organise a task list and remain motivated without constant supervision.

Willingness to work within a busy, client-facing environment.

    Desirable

Previous building maintenance experience within commercial or residential properties.
