The role will focus on coordinating all people-related transition activities, ensuring effective governance, documentation, employee engagement, operational readiness and compliance throughout the programme lifecycle.
Working closely with senior HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, the successful candidate will help ensure the smooth delivery of employee transfer, integration and organisational change activities.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain detailed project plans, trackers and governance documentation.
Coordinate activities across HR, Legal, Payroll, Finance and operational teams.
Track milestones, risks, issues, actions and project dependencies.
Provide regular project reporting and progress updates to stakeholders.
Support programme governance meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
Coordinate employee transfer activities, including workforce mapping and transition planning.
Support consultation processes, ensuring accurate documentation and record keeping.
Ensure all transition documentation is complete, accurate and audit-ready.
Prepare employee communications, briefing materials and frequently asked questions.
Coordinate consultation meetings and maintain associated records.
Support leadership teams with change communications throughout the programme.
Coordinate the preparation of employee letters, notices and contractual documentation.
Work alongside legal and HR specialists to ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal governance requirements.
Ensure documentation is controlled, version managed and readily accessible.
Coordinate activities required to achieve operational readiness for transition.
Maintain integration, action and retention trackers.
Support organisational, cultural and people integration initiatives.
Monitor completion of post-transition actions and escalate risks where required.
Support the coordination of payroll, pensions, benefits and employee data migration activities.
Liaise with HR systems teams and third-party providers to ensure readiness.
Assist in ensuring HR processes are fully operational from Day One and throughout the integration period.
Requirements
Proven experience delivering HR projects within mergers, acquisitions, divestments or large-scale organisational change programmes.
Strong understanding of employee transfer processes and employment legislation, including TUPE.
Demonstrable project coordination and programme management experience.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Experience producing high-quality project documentation, trackers and governance reports.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across all organisational levels.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including HR, Legal, Finance and Payroll.
High attention to detail with a strong focus on governance, compliance and risk management.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and project planning tools.
Location & Travel
Hybrid working with a primary base in Cheshire West and regular travel to Essex to support project delivery.uirements.
