The Role
As an MOT Tester, you'll play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet the highest safety and compliance standards while supporting the workshop team with inspections and repairs.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out Class 4 & 7 MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
·Completing vehicle inspections and identifying repair requirements
·Diagnosing faults relating to brakes, suspension, steering and exhaust systems
·Carrying out minor repairs where required
·Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standard
·Maintaining accurate workshop documentation
·Working closely with the workshop team to deliver excellent customer service
About You
·Valid Class 4 & 7 MOT Tester Licence
·NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
·Previous experience as an MOT Tester or Vehicle Technician with an MOT Licence
·Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail
·Ability to work independently and as part of a team
·Full UK Manual Driving Licence
·Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
