Cnc Turner Programmer Setter Operator

We are looking to add an experienced CNC Turner to our well established clients team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on precision components, takes pride in quality and can confidently programme, set and operate modern turning centres.

Key Responsibilities:

Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes

*

Creating and modifying programmes (Fanuc & Heidenhain advantageous)

*

Reading and interpreting detailed engineering drawings

*

Selecting tooling, workholding and machining methods

*

Performing first-off and in-process inspections

*

Ensuring components meet strict tolerance and quality requirements

*

Maintaining a safe, organised and efficient work area

*

Working collaboratively with the wider production team

Candidate Requirements:

*

Proven CNC turning experience (programming essential)

*

Knowledge of Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls beneficial

*

Ability to work from technical drawings

*

Strong attention to detail and quality focus

*

Reliable, proactive and able to work independently

Working hours (39 per week):

* Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30

* Friday 08:00-15:30
