We are supporting a leading international consultancy in the appointment of a PMO Lead / Director to support the delivery of large-scale data centre projects across the UK and Europe. Based in London, this role offers a hybrid working model (typically 3 days in office/project, depending on programme requirements).
This is a senior leadership opportunity within a high performing project controls function, where you will play a key role in driving governance, improving programme performance, and supporting the successful delivery of complex, mission critical developments.
Responsibilities
PMO Governance & Framework Leadership
Establish, implement, and continuously refine PMO governance frameworks, processes, and controls across complex data centre programmes, ensuring consistency, compliance, and best practice delivery.
Programme Controls & Performance Management
Lead integrated project controls across cost, schedule, risk, and change management, ensuring accurate baseline establishment and ongoing performance tracking across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder & Client Leadership
Act as a senior interface with clients and key stakeholders, leading workshops, presenting at executive level, and ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and strategic outcomes.
Reporting, Data & Digital Integration
Oversee the development of high-quality reporting outputs, including dashboard-style reporting (Excel/Power BI), ensuring data is translated into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
Team Leadership & Capability Development
Lead, mentor, and develop PMO and project controls teams, driving high performance, succession planning, and continuous improvement within a consultancy-led environment.
Requirements
Proven experience in a PMO Lead / Director or senior Project Controls role within large-scale construction or data centre projects
Strong understanding of full project lifecycle (design through commissioning) within a consultancy or client-facing environment
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at senior/executive level
Must have UK Passport or existing RTW in the UK
