We're looking for compassionate Female Healthcare Assistants to join our specialist team supporting two young children with complex healthcare needs across Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you'll provide dedicated overnight care within the family home, helping each child remain safe, comfortable and well supported while giving their families valuable peace of mind. These are incredibly rewarding opportunities to make a genuine difference every shift.
One role supports an 18-month-old little girl preparing to transition home from hospital to Lowestoft. She enjoys music, sensory play and story time, and you'll help provide nurturing, child-centred care throughout the night.
You'll also have the opportunity to support a smiley three-year-old little boy in Great Yarmouth who has complex clinical needs. He responds well to calm, reassuring care, enjoys gentle interaction and benefits from carers who are kind, patient and attentive.
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will include personal care, medication administration, moving and handling, monitoring wellbeing and supporting complex clinical interventions such as tracheostomy care, suctioning, oxygen saturation monitoring and enteral feeding following specialist training where required.
What You'll Need
* Minimum 3 months' paid UK care experience
* Passion for supporting children with complex healthcare needs
* Confidence with personal care and moving & handling
* Excellent communication skills
* Willingness to complete specialist clinical training
* Comfortable working in homes with family pets
* Right to work in the UK
Important: Female applicants only – this is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the individual's care needs. Candidates supporting the Lowestoft package must also be able to attend daytime training and shadow shifts in Great Yarmouth before the client is discharged home.
