About the Client An innovative energy specialist and Tier 1 Consultancy is reshaping how large-scale energy systems and district heating networks are delivered across the UK. We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Gas Engineer looking to transition away from conventional, stagnant processes into a rapid-growth, forward-thinking environment.

Work closely with the Technical Manager within the Operations Department, taking ownership of high-value energy centre plant rooms.
Deliver planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fault-finding across large-scale commercial plant machinery.

Base salary of £52,500 – £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
40-hour standard workweek.

Technical Essentials
Minimum 2 years of dedicated experience operating as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
Strong operational knowledge of energy centres and plant rooms.
NVQ Level 2 in Gas, Plumbing, or heating discipline.
Valid Commercial Gas Registration, Testing & Purging Training Course (TPCP1), and Gas Booster (BMP1).
Proven track record servicing, fault-finding, and replacing parts on commercial boilers from leading manufacturers (e.g., Hoval, Hamworthy, Ideal, Buderus).
Ability to interpret complex mechanical schematics and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
Competence in both mechanical and basic electrical safe isolation.
Valid Full UK Driving License (held for a minimum of 12 months) and willingness to join a 1-in-4 week on-call rota.
Desirable: Part P or Part G compliance certifications; prior experience working on district heating networks.
