How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About the Opportunity

    We're recruiting on behalf of a leading care provider for an experienced Learning & Development Coordinator to join their Learning & Development team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced trainer who is passionate about developing care professionals and improving standards across residential and nursing care services. You'll design and deliver engaging training programmes, support new service inductions, and ensure colleagues have the skills and confidence to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.

    The role is primarily based across the North West, with occasional travel to other regions as required.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Design and deliver mandatory and specialist health and social care training, including Moving & Assisting, Safeguarding, First Aid, Basic Life Support, Dementia Care and the Mental Capacity Act.

    * Deliver engaging training sessions across multiple care services and assess learner competency in line with CQC and Skills for Care standards.

    * Support induction programmes, workplace champions and the ongoing development of care teams.

    * Maintain accurate training records, provide support with e-learning systems and continuously improve training materials in line with best practice.

    About You

    * Experience delivering health and social care training across a range of subjects.

    * Level 3 Award in Education & Training (or equivalent teaching qualification).

    * Strong knowledge of CQC standards, Skills for Care requirements and current care legislation.

    * Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills.

    * Confident using Microsoft Office and learning management systems.

    * Flexible, proactive and able to travel regularly across the North West.

    * NUCO and/or RoSPA qualifications are desirable but not essential.

    What's on Offer

    * Salary up to £41,000 per annum

    * Permanent, full-time role

    * Ongoing training and professional development

    * Career progression opportunities

    * Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment

    * Opportunity to make a real impact on the quality of care delivered across multiple services

    If you're an experienced Learning & Development professional looking for your next opportunity within the care sector, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today for a confidential discussion
