How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A leading global property and construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its established commercial team in London. The Senior Project Manager will deliver high-quality office and commercial projects across the capital, working with major occupiers, developers, investors and corporate clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a respected consultancy with a strong pipeline of refurbishment, fit-out and new-build schemes.

The successful Senior Project Manager will manage projects from initial brief through to completion, taking responsibility for programme, quality, risk and stakeholder coordination. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients and consultant teams, while the Senior Project Manager will also support junior colleagues and contribute to wider team growth. This role will suit a Senior Project Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced commercial environment and wants exposure to prominent London projects.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will lead commercial projects through feasibility, design, procurement, construction and handover. Typical schemes will include office fit-outs, workplace refurbishments, CAT A and CAT B projects, repositioning programmes and complex occupied-building works.

The Senior Project Manager will prepare project programmes, chair meetings, coordinate design teams, manage procurement strategies and monitor project risks. They will provide clear reporting to clients and ensure projects are delivered against agreed cost, programme and quality requirements.

The role will also involve supporting fee proposals, maintaining client relationships and mentoring Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.

    The Senior Project Manager

The successful Senior Project Manager will have:

Previous project management experience within a UK construction consultancy
Experience delivering commercial office, fit-out or refurbishment projects
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related discipline
Chartered status with RICS, APM or CIOB, or strong progress towards qualification
Experience managing projects across multiple RIBA stages
Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills
The confidence to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex project risks

    In Return?

    £70,000 - £78,000
    Car allowance
    Performance-related bonus
    Private healthcare
    Pension contribution
    Professional membership fees
    Clear progression towards Associate level
Exposure to major commercial projects across London
