**Full-Time | Long-Term Role | Aspire People**
Aspire People are looking for a resilient and compassionate **SEMH Teaching Assistant** to support pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support within a primary school.
You'll play a key role in helping children regulate their emotions, engage with learning, and develop positive relationships within the classroom.
**The Role:**
* Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis
* Implementing behaviour support strategies
* Promoting emotional regulation and resilience
* Supporting pupils during classroom learning and unstructured times
* Working closely with teachers and SENCOs
* Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Experience supporting SEMH or behavioural needs
* Recent experience within a UK primary school
* Calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* Passion for supporting vulnerable pupils
