Cambridgeshire
£45,000 - £50,000
Fancy running a production floor where your ideas actually go somewhere?
That's the offer here. I'm working with a food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire that's investing heavily in its people and its processes and they need a Production Manager who wants to lead, not just take orders.
You'll take full ownership of a busy production area, driving standards on safety, quality and performance, building a team that wants to follow you, and putting your continuous improvement mindset to real use. This isn't a "keep the wheels turning" job. It's a "make your mark" job.
What's in it for you?
£45,000 - £50,000
A business investing in growth, with genuine room to progress
The chance to shape how the site runs, not just report on it
Leaders who back good ideas, and back the people who bring them
What you'll need
You're already working as a Production Manager, or a strong Production Shift Manager, in food manufacturing, comfortable running large teams at pace. Alongside that, you'll bring:
Leadership that gets teams motivated, not just managed
A track record of improving KPIs across safety, quality, productivity and waste
Real LEAN experience and a genuine continuous improvement mindset
Project or change management experience is a bonus. A Six Sigma Green Belt (or similar) is a bonus too - neither is essential
If you want a role where your input actually changes the operation, not just your job title, let's talk.
