Accord Resourcing is recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Gateshead / Newcastle (NE11).

Working Hours

* Monday to Friday

* Flexible shift patterns available

* Overtime available depending on workload

The Role

* Service, maintain, and repair HGVs

* Carry out inspections and preventative maintenance

* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

* Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard

* Accurately update service records and job sheets

* Work safely and effectively to workshop deadlines

About You

* Previous experience as an HGV Technician, LGV Technician, Truck Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician

* Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is essential

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* Good mechanical and electrical repair knowledge

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Good attention to detail

* Full UK Driving Licence
