How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Executive Assistant & Project Coordinator

    Location: Barnet, North London
    Job Type: Full Time
Salary: Competitive + Performance Bonus + Company Pension + Career Progression

Help Build One of the UK's Most Exciting EV Charging Businesses

This isn't a job where you'll spend your day filing paperwork.

This is an opportunity to become one of the key people behind a fast-growing business helping shape the future of electric vehicle charging across the UK.

Green Turtle Energy designs, installs and operates EV charging infrastructure for landlords, commercial property owners and developers. Having recently secured funding, we're entering an exciting period of growth and are looking for someone exceptional to join our team.

We're looking for someone ambitious, highly organised and driven—someone who wants to build a career, take responsibility and grow with the business.

If you're looking for a role where every day is different, where your work genuinely makes an impact and where there is real opportunity to progress, we'd love to hear from you.

    About the Role

You'll work directly with the Directors and Technical Team, becoming the person who keeps the business organised and projects moving.

Your role is simple: make sure nothing gets forgotten, nothing gets delayed and everyone is doing what they should be doing.

You'll coordinate multiple live projects, manage priorities, chase actions, organise documentation and ensure every opportunity progresses efficiently from enquiry through to completion. As you develop within the business, you'll take on increasing responsibility and become involved in operational decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities

You'll coordinate multiple projects at different stages, prepare proposals and project documentation, process DNO applications, research prospective development sites, follow up landlords, clients, suppliers and contractors, coordinate engineers and site activities, organise meetings, maintain accurate records using Microsoft 365 and Zoho, monitor outstanding actions and continually improve systems and processes that help the business operate more efficiently.

    About You

You're naturally organised and enjoy bringing structure to a busy environment. You notice when things haven't been done and make sure they happen. You enjoy taking ownership, solving problems and seeing projects through to completion. You're reliable, proactive and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced business.

You'll have excellent GCSE and A-Level results, strong written and verbal communication skills, outstanding attention to detail and the ability to learn new systems quickly. A university degree is desirable but not essential if you can demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and organisational ability. Experience using Microsoft 365 is essential, while experience with Zoho CRM, project coordination, engineering, construction, property or renewable energy would be an advantage.

    Career Progression

This is not a dead-end administrative role. As Green Turtle Energy grows, you'll have the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility with a clear progression pathway into Office Manager, Operations Manager and potentially General Manager.

    What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary, performance-related bonus, company pension, ongoing training, genuine career progression and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI, automation and EV charging technology. You'll work directly with the Directors, have real responsibility from day one and play an important role in helping build one of the UK's most exciting EV charging businesses.

    Why Join Green Turtle Energy?

    We're not a large corporate.

We're a growing business with ambitious plans, exciting projects and the opportunity to make a real impact. Your ideas will be listened to, your work will matter and your career can grow as quickly as the business does.

Please submit your CV together with a short cover letter written by you (not AI-generated), explaining why you believe you're the right person for the role.

If you're ambitious, organised and excited by the opportunity to help build something special, we'd love to hear from you
