How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Location: Notting Hill, West London
    Start Date: September 2026
    Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (with potential for permanent opportunities)
    Pay: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

    A welcoming and well-established primary school in Notting Hill is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team from September 2026.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development. The successful candidate will work within either the Nursery or Reception class, helping to create a positive, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.

    The school is ideally looking for someone who holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification (or is currently working towards one), however they would also welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants with a strong Early Years background who are passionate about developing their career within EYFS.

    The Role:

    * Supporting teaching and learning within the Nursery or Reception classroom

    * Delivering engaging play-based activities in line with the EYFS Framework

    * Supporting children's communication, language, social, emotional, and physical development

    * Helping children establish routines while encouraging confidence and independence

    * Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning through play

    * Supporting observations and contributing to children's ongoing development

    * Working closely with the class teacher and wider Early Years team to create a stimulating learning environment

    The Ideal Candidate:

    * Ideally holds a Level 3 Early Years qualification or is currently working towards one

    * Alternatively, has previous experience supporting children within an EYFS setting

    * Passionate about Early Years education and child development

    * Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic with a hands-on approach

    * Able to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

    * A proactive team player who enjoys contributing to the wider school community

    * Strong communication and organisational skills
