How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join a well-established residential developer on an ongoing contract with a minimum duration of three months.

    This is a busy and varied role that would suit someone who is highly organised, customer-focused and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment. Previous experience working for a residential developer or social housing provider would be highly advantageous.

    The Role

    Working as part of the Customer Care team, you will provide essential administrative support while acting as a key point of contact for homeowners, contractors and internal departments.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    * Processing invoices accurately and efficiently

    * Data entry and maintaining customer records

    * Answering incoming telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries

    * Liaising with homeowners to provide updates and resolve queries

    * Chasing contractors to ensure works are completed within agreed timescales

    * Managing emails and general administrative duties

    * Supporting the wider Customer Care team with day-to-day administration

    About You

    We are looking for someone who:

    * Has previous administrative and customer service experience

    * Has excellent communication and organisational skills

    * Is confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems

    * Can manage a busy workload while maintaining attention to detail

    * Is professional, approachable and enjoys delivering excellent customer service

    * Ideally has previous experience working for a residential developer, housebuilder or social housing provider
