We're recruiting for a Stores Assistant to join a growing and fast-paced business based in South Cheshire. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in ensuring goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched efficiently while supporting production and delivering excellent service to customers.
The Role
Receiving, unloading and storing goods safely and accurately.
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders to ensure they arrive on time and in excellent condition.
Supplying materials and components to manufacturing and production teams efficiently.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
Supporting colleagues and being flexible to meet the needs of the business.
Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties.
Undertaking any additional tasks required by management.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores or similar environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy items.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
Driving licence is required due to office location
Desirable
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Experience using hand-held scanning devices.
Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences (these candidates will be given preference).
Full UK driving licence.
Knowledge of warehouse or engineering environments.
