How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A well-established London law firm is seeking a Commercial Property Paralegal to join its highly regarded Real Estate team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Property Paralegal with 1-2 years' experience to work alongside experienced partners on a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leasing, asset management and development work. The firm offers excellent training, genuine career progression and exposure to high-quality clients.

    The Commercial Property Paralegal's Role

    The successful Commercial Property Paralegal will support fee earners across a varied commercial property caseload, gaining hands-on experience throughout the transaction lifecycle.

    Responsibilities will include:

    Assisting with commercial property sales, purchases, leasing and asset management matters
    Preparing contract packs and obtaining Land Registry documents
    Assisting with due diligence and title investigations
    Drafting legal documents, correspondence and reports
    Carrying out property searches and legal research
    Assisting with SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications
    Supporting post-exchange and post-completion matters
    Liaising with clients, lenders and third parties
    Preparing title reports, statutory declarations and notices
    Managing electronic files and monitoring key deadlines

    The Commercial Property Paralegal

    1-2 years' commercial property paralegal experience
    Law degree, GDL or equivalent qualification
    Experience supporting commercial property transactions
    Strong drafting and organisational skills
    Excellent attention to detail
    Confident communicator with strong client care skills
    Proactive and able to manage competing priorities
    Experience with SDLT and Land Registry applications would be advantageous
