How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

With £16bn in capital, it will unlock private investment, support regeneration and accelerate housing delivery across the UK. Joining now offers a rare opportunity to shape a major new national investment platform from the ground up.

The Structured Real Estate & Infrastructure Finance (SREIF) team deliver structured debt finance transactions to support complex development, infrastructure and regeneration sites including mixed use, build to rent and multi-site developments. The role involves collaborating with a wide range of internal and external partners to assess proposals from housing developers, master developers, landowners and investors, shaping commercially sound funding solutions that support viable projects, mitigate risk and safeguard public investment.

The role consistently demonstrates and embeds the values and behaviours in daily work, contributing to a positive and inclusive culture.

    * Conduct detailed financial analysis and cashflow modelling to evaluate the feasibility, deliverability, and risk profile of lending opportunities.

    * Identify, assess, and mitigate transaction risks through collaboration with internal risk, legal, and transaction execution teams.

    * Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, investors, landowners, professional advisers, and internal stakeholders.

    * Manage transactions through approval, due diligence, documentation, and handover processes while driving continuous process improvement.

    Candidate profile

    * Degree-qualified (or equivalent experience) in Finance, Banking, Real Estate, or a related discipline.

    * Experience supporting real estate finance, property investment, or structured lending transactions from assessment through to execution.

    * Strong financial modelling and cashflow analysis skills, with the ability to assess project viability and commercial performance.

    * Knowledge of property due diligence, valuation methodologies, professional reports, contracts, and transaction documentation.

    * Understanding of credit risk assessment, borrower analysis, risk management frameworks, and sector-specific risks.

    * Strong knowledge of the housing and regeneration sector, coupled with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.

    Why join?

    * Help build a new national investment institution

    * Work on complex housing and regeneration transactions

    * Deploy £16bn of government-backed capital

    * Hybrid 50/50 working across multiple national locations
