About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company based in Cowes for a dedicated and detail-focused Assembly Operator. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business, where you'll play a key role in producing high-quality products as part of a supportive and professional team.
Whether you have previous assembly experience or are looking to develop a career in manufacturing, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately pick and kit components in line with production schedules.
Assemble products to specification using detailed work instructions.
Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Assist with stock control and inventory accuracy.
Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve production targets.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience within a manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse environment is desirable but not essential.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work.
Good manual dexterity and confidence working with small components.
Ability to follow written instructions and work independently when required.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Basic IT skills would be an advantage.
