The Role
As Teacher of Economics, you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging Economics lessons at KS5.
Inspire students to explore economic theory and apply their learning to real-world issues.
Foster intellectual curiosity, debate and independent thinking.
Plan, teach and assess effectively to ensure students achieve their full potential.
Monitor progress and provide high-quality feedback that drives improvement.
Contribute to curriculum enrichment and wider departmental initiatives.
Support students in achieving excellent examination results.
Play an active role within the school's wider community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards achieving QTS.
A degree in Economics or a related discipline.
Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Economics.
The ability to motivate, challenge and inspire students.
High expectations of behaviour, achievement and attendance.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
