How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    An established and highly regarded UK residential developer is looking to appoint an experienced Sales Office Manager to join its busy regional sales team based in Cambridgeshire.

    This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to play a key role in supporting the sales function, ensuring the smooth progression of property sales from reservation through to legal completion. Working closely with senior sales management, sales advisors, solicitors and internal departments, you will help deliver an exceptional customer experience while supporting the business in achieving its sales and completion targets.

    If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy coordinating multiple priorities and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to hear from you.

    The Role

    As Sales Office Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day administration of the sales office, ensuring all systems, processes and documentation are managed efficiently. You will also support senior sales leadership with operational and administrative responsibilities while providing guidance to the wider sales administration team.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Manage the progression of property sales from reservation through to legal completion.

    * Liaise with solicitors, purchasers and internal departments to ensure transactions progress efficiently.

    * Coordinate and oversee all sales administration processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    * Support, train and mentor the sales administration team, maintaining high standards of performance.

    * Manage holiday cover and workload planning within the sales office.

    * Ensure all internal sales systems and databases are accurately maintained.

    * Produce weekly, monthly and ad hoc sales reports for senior management.

    * Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via telephone and email.

    * Prepare and collate documentation required for internal reporting and management meetings.

    * Work closely with Sales Directors and senior management to support the smooth running of the sales function.

    * Build effective relationships across departments to ensure excellent communication and customer service throughout the sales process.

    About You

    We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, customer-focused and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.

    You will ideally have:

    * Previous experience in a sales administration or sales office management role, preferably within the property, construction or housebuilding sector.

    * Experience supporting senior managers within a busy office environment.

    * The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.

    * Strong organisational and time management skills.

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    * Confidence supervising or mentoring administrative colleagues.

    * Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

    * Experience using CRM or sales management systems would be advantageous.

    * A professional, calm and adaptable approach.

    What’s on Offer

    * Competitive salary

    * Performance-related bonus

    * Company pension scheme

    * 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

    * Life assurance

    * Employee benefits and discounts platform

    * Cycle to Work scheme

    * Holiday purchase scheme

    * Ongoing training and career development opportunities

    * Supportive team environment with genuine opportunities for progression

    If you’re looking to join a successful residential developer where your organisational skills can make a real impact, we’d love to hear from you
