Join Our Growing Transport Team
We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 Tramper Drivers to join our busy operation. If you're looking for regular work, modern equipment, and a straightforward driving role with minimal manual handling, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
* Driving Class 1 articulated vehicles with curtainsider trailers
* Transporting palletised goods
* Collection and delivery work primarily between the Midlands and the South Coast
* Tramping throughout the week with regular overnight stays in the vehicle
* Minimal handball involved, allowing you to focus on the job you do best
Start Times
* Typical start times range between 05:00 and 08:00
* Flexibility is required as start times may vary depending on operational requirements
Pay & Benefits
* £17.00ph PAYE, £19.05ph PAYE Advanced (inc. holiday pay)
* Minimum 8 hours paid per day
* Weekly hours typically range from 45 to 55 hours
* Flat rate pay structure with overtime rarely required
* £26 night out allowance
* Access to a SNAP parking account
* Parking fees and toll charges reimbursed where necessary (receipts required)
What We're Looking For
* Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations
* Professional and customer-focused attitude
* Reliable, flexible, and safety-conscious approach to work
