Veritas Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Morecambe for a dedicated Year 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026.

The Role
Working within a Year 3 classroom, you will support teaching and learning across a variety of settings. The school operates a flexible team-based model, meaning no two days are the same. You will be expected to work:
Supporting the whole class alongside the class teacher
Delivering small group interventions
Providing targeted one-to-one support where required
Helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional developmentThe successful candidate will be invited to attend the school's INSET Day on 1st September 2026, providing an excellent opportunity to meet the team, receive training, and prepare for the new academic year. This is a long term position, likely to continue throughout the full academic year.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must:
Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification as a minimum
Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
Have experience supporting pupils on a whole-class, small-group and one-to-one basis
Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
Be flexible, proactive and committed to supporting all learners
