Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Engineer to join a growing, market-leading UK manufacturer. The Maintenance Engineer will carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a wide range of automated production machinery, covering electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. The company offers an eight-week training and shadowing period and is happy to develop someone who is stronger in either electrical or mechanical engineering.

Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer
Hands-on engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial maintenance, automotive or a similar environment.
Electrical or mechanical fault-finding experience.
Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across automated production machinery.
Fault finding on motors, servo drives, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.
Reading and working from electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
Supporting machinery installations, improvements and ongoing site expansion.
A practical approach with the initiative to investigate and resolve faults independently
Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer
Electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
PLC fault-finding experience.
Previous experience maintaining automated manufacturing or packaging machinery.
