About the Role of Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a £70m warehouse development in Essex. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team, you will ensure the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a significant industrial build with a leading contractor.
Responsibilities for Site Manager
Managing daily site operations and coordinating subcontractors
* Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme and project milestones
* Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and quality across the site
* Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress meetings
* Managing site logistics and workforce planning
* Liaising with clients, consultants, and the project team throughout construction
* Reviewing RAMS and ensuring compliance with company procedures
* Monitoring progress and reporting on project performanceRequirements for Site Manager
Proven experience as a Site Manager on warehouse, industrial, logistics, or large-scale commercial projects
* Strong knowledge of steel frame and warehouse construction
* SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid qualification required
* Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
* Excellent communication and leadership skills

£280.00 - £320.00 per day
