The role will involve managing work orders from receipt through to completion, ensuring jobs are planned efficiently, allocated correctly, completed safely, and remain commercially profitable.
Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving and reviewing incoming work orders.
* Planning and scheduling erection and dismantling works efficiently.
* Coordinating labour, vehicles, equipment and travel to maximise daily productivity and profit.
* Allocating suitable timescales and labour levels to each job.
* Tracking outstanding dismantles and ensuring these are completed within agreed timescales.
* Monitoring vehicle weights, HGV logistics, driver hours and O Licence compliance requirements.
* Ensuring teams operate in line with relevant scaffolding, transport and health-and-safety legislation.
* Liaising with site teams and clients to keep works on programme.
* Obtaining and checking completion reports, photographs and job information daily.
* Providing clients with accurate daily updates and completion information.
* Supporting the wider office team with administrative, scheduling and operational tasks.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems and day-to-day scaffolding operations.
* Understanding of vehicle weight allowances, HGV logistics and O Licence requirements.
* Experience estimating realistic labour and time requirements for scaffolding jobs.
* Good commercial awareness and the ability to plan work profitably.
* Excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills.
* Confidence using scheduling systems, email and spreadsheets.
* Previous scaffolding coordination, management or logistics experience is highly desirable.
