Part 2 Scaffolder

Responsibilities

* Erect, dismantle, and modify scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards

* Inspect scaffolding regularly for stability, safety hazards, and compliance with regulations

* Collaborate with carpenters, masons, electricians, and other trades to facilitate smooth workflow

* Use hand tools and power tools to assemble scaffolding components efficiently and securely

* Ensure all scaffolding is properly secured and safe for use by workers at height

* Follow detailed plans and diagrams to construct scaffolding tailored to specific site requirements

* Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding progress, issues, or safety concerns

Requirements

* Proven experience in scaffolding installation and dismantling in construction environments

* Must hold the relevant CISRS qualification/card and be competent in carrying out scaffolding works safely and efficiently.

* Experience in domestic, commercial and reactive scaffolding work would be beneficial.

* HGV licence is preferred but not essential.

* Strong knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations

* Skilled in the use of hand tools such as hammers, wrenches, levels, and pliers

* Proficient with power tools including drills, saws, and grinders

* Familiarity with carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work, and fabrication enhances versatility

* Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately

* Physical stamina to work at heights and lift heavy materials safely
