The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with special educational needs.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and structured learning environment where every pupil can thrive.
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and other professionals to support pupil progress.
* Monitor, assess, and record pupils' development, adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
* Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development while maintaining high expectations.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Has proven experience teaching within a specialist SEN school setting.
* Has a strong understanding of a range of special educational needs and effective teaching strategies.
* Demonstrates excellent behaviour management and communication skills.
* Is patient, adaptable, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
* Can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
