Location: Rotherham College, Rotherham
Salary: £33,487 (unqualified) to £38,487 including Market Force Supplement (qualified) + benefits
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full time (37 hours each week, all year round)

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver Excellence: Teach and assess Levels 1–3 digital and computing curriculums.
* Inspire Students: Motivate learners using enthusiastic, engaging, and supportive methods.
* Drive AI & Code Competency: Embed modern programming languages and AI concepts into daily lessons.
* Manage Progress: Monitor student growth to ensure timely course completion.
* Guide Futures: Support student recruitment and provide clear career progression advice.
* Build Partnerships: Develop industry links for student work experience and enrichment.
You will…
* Hold a relevant degree in Computing, or a related field.
* Hold a teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed) or a willingness to work towards one.
* Have professional industry experience and a strong portfolio of work.
* Strong technical proficiency in programming, AI and general IT.
* Have the ability to engage diverse learners and foster an inclusive environment.
You will hold a Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in English and Maths (or be willing to undertake).

Department Info
You will work as part of the curriculum team at the Rotherham campus and you will also closely work with and take direction from our Curriculum Team Leaders. You will be line managed by the Curriculum Manager.
