How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A leading independent construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its established London team. The Senior Project Manager will initially support major healthcare projects, working with high-profile public and private sector clients across complex refurbishment and new-build programmes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who wants to develop within a respected consultancy while retaining the chance to work across other sectors. Although healthcare will be a key focus, the successful Senior Project Manager can also gain experience within commercial, residential, education, life sciences and mixed-use developments. The Senior Project Manager will join a collaborative team that offers strong career progression and exposure to projects from early feasibility through to completion.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Senior Project Manager's role

The Senior Project Manager will take responsibility for delivering projects through the full development lifecycle. This will include preparing project programmes, managing consultant teams, monitoring budgets, overseeing procurement and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders.

The Senior Project Manager will lead meetings, manage project risks and ensure schemes are delivered to the required quality, cost and programme. They will also support junior members of the team and contribute to the continued growth of the healthcare service.

While the Senior Project Manager will initially work on healthcare schemes, the consultancy is open to aligning future project exposure with their wider sector interests.

    The Senior Project Manager

The successful Senior Project Manager will have:

Previous project management experience within a UK construction consultancy
Experience delivering healthcare, public sector or other complex construction projects
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying or a related discipline
Chartered status with RICS, APM, CIOB or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience managing projects through multiple RIBA stages
A commercial approach and the ability to manage competing priorities

    In Return?

    £65,000 - £75,000
    Car allowance
    Performance-related bonus
    Private healthcare
    Pension contribution
    Professional membership fees
    Chartership and career development support
    Clear route towards Associate level
Exposure to major London projects across healthcare and other sectors
