How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Female Support Worker | Tunbridge Wells

    £25,845 per annum (pro rata)

    Full-time opportunities available - Shifts are between 7:30am and 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday, including extended day shifts.

    A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

    About the Role

    We're looking for caring and enthusiastic Female Support Workers to join our friendly team in Tunbridge Wells, supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health needs and behaviours of concern within a supported living service.

    You'll be supporting people to develop their independence, achieve their goals and enjoy active, fulfilling lives.

    The people we support love getting out into their local community. From walks in the park and swimming to bowling, café visits, shopping trips and meals out, you'll be helping people enjoy the activities that matter most to them. Because of this, you'll need to hold a full UK driving licence and be happy to drive the service vehicles.

    What You'll Be Doing

    Every day is different, but you'll:

    Support people to live as independently as possible while promoting choice and dignity

    Encourage participation in hobbies, activities and community life

    Assist with cooking, shopping, budgeting and maintaining a home

    Support people to build and maintain relationships with family and friends

    Provide respectful, person-centred personal care where required

    Promote positive outcomes by following individual support plans and celebrating achievements every day
