Location: Stockport office,
working from 9.30am to 4.30pm.
We are looking for someone with substantial previous experience in a legal secretarial, administrative or receptionist role in a legal setting ,who can confidently manage the day-to-day administrative requirements of a busy law firm.
The role will include:
- Answering all incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate person or department;
- Dealing with incoming and outgoing post;
- Opening new files;
- Assisting with client onboarding, including sending initial documentation, obtaining identification and carrying out the necessary checks;
- Completing applications for after-the-event insurance;
- Dealing with invoices and general accounts administration; and
- Providing wider administrative support to the solicitors and file handlers.
The successful candidate will need to be organised, reliable and confident dealing with clients by telephone. Attention to detail is particularly important, as is the ability to manage different tasks without needing close supervision.
We are looking for someone who already has plenty of relevant experience and can come into the role with a good understanding of how a solicitors’ office operates.
