How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    EA to COO, SW1 22939

    £60,000 + bonus + benefits

Are you a proactive, driven EA with C suite experience in a global organisation?

Do you enjoy gatekeeping and being the point of contact for the global senior leadership?

Can you manage demanding agendas with professional composure?

Do you have strong IT skills as well as an eye for numbers – for researching, interpreting and producing reports and presentations?

There’s plenty of scope for involvement in projects in this rapidly growing global and inspiring organisation.

With some flexibility, this mostly is 5 days in the office.

What you’ll be doing day to day:

    • Work closely with the Chief Operating Officer, proactively managing priorities, schedule, and day-to-day operations
    • Support the COO's relocation from the US by assisting with the establishment of their professional and personal life in London
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with Executive Committee members, Board Directors, investors, and other senior stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and decision-making
    • Manage a complex and ever-changing calendar, ensuring effective forward planning, prioritisation, and scheduling
    • Manage multiple inboxes, triaging correspondence, responding where appropriate and escalating matters as required
    • Prepare agendas, board papers, meeting packs, and relevant business information to ensure the COO is fully briefed for meetings
    • Organise, attend and coordinate executive, leadership, and board meetings, taking accurate minutes and tracking actions through to completion
    • Produce reports, presentations and other high-quality documentation, including creating and editing PowerPoint presentations
    • Conduct research, gather and analyse information, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
    • Coordinate complex international travel, including itineraries, logistics and accommodation
    • Plan and deliver executive meetings, conferences and events, managing venue selection, guest lists, logistics, equipment, technology, materials, and catering
    • Manage, organise and maintain accurate records, data, and business documentation
    • Process and manage multi-currency expenses
    • Handle enquiries confidently, resolving issues independently where appropriate and escalating when necessary
    • Exercise delegated authority to approve requests, decisions and expenditure on behalf of the senior leadership team where appropriate

    About you:

    • You are a collaborative Executive Assistant with a warm, engaging, and approachable style, building trusted relationships with colleagues and senior stakeholders alike
    • Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and adaptable, you thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing global environment and remain calm under pressure while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines
    • You are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, enabling you to influence with impact, exercise sound judgement and make considered decisions.
    • A natural problem solver, you are proactive, resourceful, and able to anticipate needs before they arise
    • You will have previous experience supporting senior executives within a complex, global organisation, together with advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint, and strong financial literacy.
    • Most importantly, you will have a genuine desire to learn, continuously improve, and contribute positively to the success of the wider team.

Skills and experience you need to have:

    • Senior-level EA/PA experience in a fast-paced global organisation
    • Advanced MS Office – particularly PowerPoint
    • Be financially literate
    • Ability to work to deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving skills
