How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Corporate Associate (2–4 years' PQE) to join a highly regarded Corporate team in London. Acting for an impressive client base ranging from high-growth businesses to private equity investors, financial institutions and multinational corporates, this role offers exposure to a broad range of high-quality transactional work.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious lawyer looking to build on strong technical foundations while taking on greater responsibility, working closely with experienced partners and senior lawyers in a collaborative and supportive environment.

    The role will include:

    • Advising on mergers and acquisitions, including domestic and cross-border transactions.
    • Assisting on private equity investments, venture capital transactions and strategic acquisitions.
    • Drafting and negotiating key transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements and investment documentation.
    • Conducting legal due diligence and managing disclosure processes.
    • Supporting corporate restructurings, joint ventures and general corporate advisory matters.
    • Managing client relationships and working directly with founders, management teams and in-house legal teams.
    • Collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice areas on complex, multi-disciplinary transactions.

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Between 2 and 4 years' post-qualification experience gained within a recognised Corporate practice.
    • Experience advising on M&A and general corporate transactions.
    • Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
    • Strong commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
    • The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within transaction timelines.
    • A collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills.
    • England & Wales qualification (or equivalent with relevant UK Corporate experience).

In return, our client offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value transactions within a supportive and ambitious team, alongside excellent opportunities for professional development and career progression.
