How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Role Overview:

This is a pivotal role for a hands-on creative to execute concept-led design across digital, ecommerce and social channels. Working across both SMP (retail/product-led brand experiences) and Melody (performance-driven creative for Amazon/marketplaces), you will be responsible for bringing visual narratives to life through design, motion and 3D.

As a Midweight Digital Motion Graphics Designer, you sit at the heart of our creative engine - possessing the technical mastery to execute complex briefs independently, while maintaining the conceptual agility to collaborate on large-scale campaigns. You will be pivotal in helping us build a faster, more innovative studio model that bridges the gap between traditional craft and future-facing technology.

    About Us:

SMP is an independent agency working with global brands to deliver impactful, concept-led creative across physical and digital environments. We operate two complementary brands:

    · SMP: Focused on retail, shopper, and product-led brand experiences.

    · Melody: Specialising in Amazon and marketplaces, delivering performance-driven creative optimised for online retail.

    Key Responsibilities:

    · Creative Execution & Output: Deliver high-impact creative designs, motion graphics and 3D renders for global campaigns, product launches, and digital toolkits.

    · Concept Development: Develop and translate conceptual ideas into high-fidelity visual narratives for both long-form and short-form content. This includes creating mood board concepts and storyboards.

    · Agency Standards: Maintain a relentless standard of craft and detail, ensuring execution is consistent across retail, shopper, and digital channels.

    · AI Integration: Actively explore, test, and embed emerging AI tools (e.g., Runway, Sora, Midjourney) within the motion pipeline to reduce churn and increase speed-to-market.

    · Strategic Alignment: Ensure all digital design and motion output is on-brand, commercially effective, and optimised for specific platform performance (especially within the Melody ecosystem).

    Required Skillset:

    · Experience: 4–6+ years of agency experience with a portfolio demonstrating motion graphics, digital design, high-end 3D product rendering and social-first motion design.

    · Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Photoshop, illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and 3D software (Cinema 4D or Blender).

    · AI-Native Mindset: A proactive interest in Agentic AI and augmented workflows to enhance the creative process.

    · Nice to Have: Hands-on UI/UX experience to support digital ecommerce optimisations. XD or any other wireframing software.
