How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    STUDIO COORDINATOR

Location: London — on-site, part time [3-4 days]

Reports to: Creative Director, Commercial Lead, Production Lead

    About the role

The Studio Coordinator keeps the Mowalola studio running day to day and is the direct operational support to the Studio Manager. You'll manage the inboxes, calendars, systems, stock, and shipping, the detailed work everything else depends on, and you'll be the person the team goes to when something needs sorting.

It's a broad, hands-on role with real exposure: fittings, shoots, launches, events and international logistics, in a small team where what you do is visible immediately. It suits someone early in their career who wants to understand how a fashion business actually runs rather than sit in one lane.

    Responsibilities

    Studio operations & administration

    • Manage studio inboxes, calendars and deadlines; keep Google Drive, Notion and Dropbox organised
    • Take and circulate meeting notes, tracking actions to completion
    • Support onboarding and day-to-day coordination of interns and junior staff

    Inventory, logistics & fulfilment

    • Manage product listings and stock across Shopify; coordinate with fulfilment partners on dispatch and order flow
    • Handle inbound/outbound shipments, including international samples, with pro forma invoices and DHL tracking
    • Maintain the sample archive and physical inventory

    Wholesale support

    • Support seasonal wholesale activity: order forms, confirmations and dispatch with accurate paperwork
    • Maintain buyer and account records; coordinate delivery details between buyers, production and internal teams
    • Support showroom and market appointments

    Studio presence & team support

    • Provide in-person support at fittings, shoots and events, including garment handling and studio set-up
    • Liaise between design, production and communications
    • Support planning and on-the-ground delivery of events and activations
    • Coordinate domestic and international travel

    Finance & supplier liaison

    • Track studio expenses; manage petty cash and reimbursements
    • Resolve invoicing and delivery queries with suppliers

    What we're looking for

    • 1–3 years in a studio, production, operations or logistics role, internships and placements count
    • Highly organised and detail-first, with a real instinct for finishing things and following up
    • Confident with Google Workspace, Notion and spreadsheets; Shopify and shipping paperwork a plus
    • Comfortable with physical work: moving stock, packing, setting up and resetting a studio
    • Discreet, you'll see sensitive information daily
    • Resilient and able to manage fast paced, high pressure environments, staying calm when several things land at once
    • Real interest in the brand and in how a fashion business operates
