Teach Now is seeking a reflective and creative Early Career Teacher to join a diverse Haringey primary school from September.
This opportunity is suited to an ECT who wants to work in an inclusive London school where pupils bring a wide range of cultures, languages and experiences to the classroom. You will be encouraged to develop your own teaching style while receiving clear guidance, constructive feedback and practical support.
The school is particularly interested in an Early Career Teacher who values inclusive practice and can make learning accessible, relevant and enjoyable.
Main Duties
Delivering well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum
Using assessment to address gaps and extend learning
Supporting pupils with English as an additional language
Differentiating learning for pupils with additional needs
Maintaining a calm, purposeful classroom
Working effectively with support staff
Building respectful relationships with families
Contributing to the wider life of the school
Candidate Profile
You should:
Hold QTS or expect to achieve QTS before September
Have recent experience in a UK primary setting
Understand adaptive teaching and inclusive classroom practice
Demonstrate secure behaviour-management strategies
Communicate clearly and work well within a team
Be committed to professional learning
Share the school’s high expectations for every pupil
