The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and stimulating environment where children can flourish. Your caring and enthusiastic approach will help nurture children’s wellbeing and development, whether you’re looking for flexible shifts or a consistent working pattern.
Responsibilities
Support children’s learning through play and planned activities
Promote every child’s wellbeing, safety, and development
Observe and record children’s progress accurately
Build positive relationships with parents and colleagues
Create a fun, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
Skills and Experience
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent) required
Previous experience working in an Early Years setting as a Nursery Practitioner
Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months

Based in Walsall
£14.24 per hour
Contract position starting 1st September 2026
