Key Responsibilities
Provide expert dispensing services, including frame selection, lens recommendations, and precise fitting.
Interpret prescriptions accurately and advise patients on suitable lens types, coatings, and frame options.
Carry out detailed measurements such as PDs, segment heights, and frame adjustments.
Support Optometrists with smooth handovers and contribute to an efficient patient journey.
Maintain strong product knowledge across frames, lenses, coatings, and optical technologies.
Process orders accurately using practice management systems and liaise with labs when required.
Deliver repairs, adjustments, and aftercare services with a high level of technical skill.
Uphold professional standards for compliance, record‑keeping, and patient confidentiality.
Contribute to retail performance through product recommendations and supporting sales targets.
About You
Minimum 2 years’ experience in optical dispensing.
Confident in interpreting prescriptions and providing tailored patient advice.
Strong communication skills with a warm, professional manner.
High attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and order processing.
Comfortable working rotational weekend shifts as part of a collaborative team.
IT‑literate with experience using optical or retail management systems.
