Kingscroft have been asked to recruit for a Production Manager by a specialist manufacturing business. In this role you will support the Operations Director and be central in setting and delivering the Production goals and strategy for the company.
As the ideal candidate you will have experience in a manufacturing business, with the ability to develop behaviour, engagement, lean thinking, best practice and skills across the production team and manufacturing operations. You will be confident in working with KPIs and using metrics to measure and improve output , quality , scrap , efficiency and H&S outcomes.
Your role will involve:
Leading Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Scheduling, Logistics Maintenance and Facilities.
Develop the performance based metrics to deliver the business plan.
Work closely with the team managers to define their strategy and develop their teams to achieve results.
Drive daily performance and long term goals of the plant.
Lead Continuous Improvement and implement process and operational change to deliver results.
Develop the culture of the plant to deliver the business plan and exceed customer expectations for delivery and quality targets.
Manage capital projects and investments to ensure effective development across equipment and facilities.
Provide a focus point for customer contact and control commercial enquiries flow through the business.
Provide reporting and detailed analysis of performance.
