I’m working with a growing and forward-thinking building controls specialist looking to add an experienced BMS Service Engineer to their team in the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a field-based role, managing their own workload and delivering high-quality service to a range of clients.
The Role
As a BMS Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and supporting building management systems across commercial sites.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive callouts
Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on BMS control systems
Supporting customers with technical issues and system optimisation
Advising on energy efficiency improvements
Producing clear and accurate service reports
Identifying system upgrades and feeding back potential opportunities
Collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical issues
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with standards
Requirements
Experience working with BMS systems such as Trend, Tridium, Schneider, or Delta
Strong fault-finding and technical problem-solving skills
Good communication and a customer-focused approach
Knowledge of health & safety practices
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Understanding of energy management principles (desirable)
Full UK driving licence
Right to work in the UK
