How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    An exciting opportunity has become available for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming nursery in Hemel Hempstead. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing during the most important stage of their educational journey.

    Working alongside an experienced Early Years team, you will play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that help children build confidence, develop independence, and reach their full potential in the education and training environment.

    Position: Level 2 Nursery Teaching Assistant

    Salary: £465-£500 per week

    Start Date: Immediate or September

    Key Responsibilities

    Support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
    Plan and deliver engaging play-based activities that encourage curiosity and creativity.
    Support children's communication, language, literacy, numeracy, and social development.
    Promote confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
    Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating nursery environment.
    Work closely with experienced Early Years practitioners to meet each child's individual needs and developmental goals.

    The ideal candidate will have:

    A Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
    Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or Early Years setting.
    A genuine passion for supporting young children's education and development.
    A caring, reliable, and professional approach.
    Strong communication and teamwork skills.
    The ability to commute to Hemel Hempstead.
