An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Practice Attorney to join the Corporate team of an elite US law firm in London. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with private equity-backed clients across the UK, Europe and the US, combining high-quality corporate work with greater client ownership in a client-facing advisory role.
Why Apply?
- Move beyond pure deal work into a role where you'll develop lasting client relationships and become a trusted adviser throughout the investment lifecycle.
- Gain exposure to complex international matters while working alongside a highly regarded team of corporate lawyers.
- Enjoy outstanding support and career development, with structured mentoring, continuous training and a role that offers more predictable working patterns than many traditional fee- earning positions.
Working alongside some of the market's leading corporate lawyers across multiple jurisdictions, the successful candidate will become a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients, providing practical legal advice and managing day-to-day corporate matters. This is an excellent opportunity to broaden your corporate experience while developing trusted client relationships in a collaborative international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise private equity-backed clients on a broad range of day-to-day corporate matters.
- Draft and maintain corporate governance and company documentation.
- Support executive incentive arrangements and a range of corporate transactions.
- Build trusted relationships with clients and collaborate effectively across legal teams.
- Deliver practical, commercially focused advice in a fast-paced international environment.
This opportunity would suit a qualified Corporate Junior Associate, ideally gained within a leading City or international law firm. Exposure to advising private equity-backed clients would be advantageous but is not essential. The successful candidate will be technically strong, commercially minded and enjoy building trusted, long-term client relationships. They will be confident acting as a key adviser on day-to-day legal and corporate matters, while taking ownership of their work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. They will be organised, proactive and able to manage matters independently while working as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
The successful candidate will enjoy a highly competitive salary, hybrid working, ongoing training and mentoring, and the opportunity to develop their career within a leading global law firm that is committed to supporting its people and delivering exceptional client service.
