How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Ready to take the next step in your design career?

At Marks, we're not just designing packaging—we're shaping the way some of the world's most loved brands connect with consumers. From iconic household names to exciting challenger brands, we create brand experiences that inspire, influence and drive commercial success.

As part of our globally connected creative team, you'll have the opportunity to work on everything from strategic rebrands and new product innovation to limited editions, shopper experiences and brand refreshes. You'll be supported by experienced creative leaders while being trusted to own projects, challenge thinking and make your mark.

If you're naturally curious, strategically minded and passionate about creating beautiful, effective design, we'd love to hear from you.

    What You'll Be Doing

You'll work across a portfolio of exciting FMCG, skincare and consumer brands, helping bring new ideas, innovations and visual identities to life.

    Projects could include:

    • Developing packaging and brand identities for globally recognised brands
    • Creating compelling design concepts grounded in consumer insight
    • Designing limited editions, seasonal launches and new product innovations
    • Refreshing and evolving established brands to keep them culturally relevant and commercially effective
    • Translating strategy into exceptional creative execution across multiple touchpoints
    • Collaborating with Creative Directors, Strategists and Client Services teams to deliver standout work
    • Presenting ideas confidently and contributing to internal creative reviews

One day you might be developing a strategic rebrand; the next, bringing a new flavour launch to life or creating a visual world for a seasonal campaign. Variety, pace and creativity are at the heart of this role.

    What We're Looking For

You're already an accomplished designer who has built strong foundations within a branding, packaging or design agency environment and are looking for the opportunity to step up.

    You'll bring:

    • 2-5 years' experience within a brand, design, communications or media agency
    • A strong portfolio showcasing branding, packaging and visual identity work
    • Excellent conceptual and craft skills across brand and pack design
    • The ability to think strategically as well as creatively
    • Experience creating design systems, architectures and visual worlds that can scale across SKUs, variants or markets
    • Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Dimension
    • Confidence using Keynote, Miro and visual presentation tools
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
    • A proactive mindset and the confidence to challenge briefs constructively
    • The agility to work across multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment

Bonus points if you love exploring trends, consumer behaviour, photography, typography, illustration, motion design and emerging creative technologies.

    We're looking for someone who:

    • Has curiosity in abundance
    • Loves asking "what if?"
    • Thinks strategically, not just aesthetically
    • Pushes for the best possible creative outcome
    • Enjoys sharing ideas and inspiring others
    • Is adaptable, agile and comfortable wearing different creative hats
    • Wants to continue learning, growing and developing their career

Most importantly, you're someone who can combine creative passion with commercial thinking to create work that doesn't just look great—it performs.

    Why Marks?

    At Marks, you'll find:

    • A supportive and highly collaborative creative culture
    • The opportunity to work on globally recognised FMCG brands
    • Exposure to strategy, branding, innovation and packaging design projects
    • Mentorship from experienced creative leaders
    • A genuinely exciting pipeline of new business and brand work
    • Opportunities to learn, grow and accelerate your career
    • A team that celebrates curiosity, creativity and fresh thinking

Whether it's reinventing a classic brand, creating the next big flavour launch, or bringing an innovation concept to life, you'll be working on projects that consumers see, buy and love every day.

Sound like the next step for you?

Apply now with your CV and portfolio and show us how you've brought brands to life through thoughtful strategy, exceptional creativity and world-class design.
