Are you an experienced Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or Senior Warehouse Operative looking for your next challenge?
We're recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering materials distributor for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to oversee the daily operation of a busy warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business supplying customers across the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
The Role
You'll lead the warehouse team, ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched safely, accurately and on time while maintaining high standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the warehouse team.
- Allocate daily workloads and ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee goods in, picking, packing and dispatch.
- Carry out stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes where trained.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and Health & Safety standards.
- Complete warehouse documentation and equipment checks.
- Work closely with internal teams to meet customer requirements.
About You
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Team Leader, Warehouse Supervisor or Senior Warehouse Operative.
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, steel stockholding or industrial distribution.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of goods in, goods out and stock control.
- Counterbalance FLT and overhead crane experience would be advantageous.
